The winery of Château La Prioulette is situated at the southern most part of the Premier Côtes de Bordeaux appellation just above the Langon. There are 13 hectares of vines averaging 25 years. Château La Prioulette has always been a family run winery and the wines today are vinted by the tenth generation of wine growers.

From Château La Prioulette, one can enjoy a splendid panoramic view over the region of Sauternes and the moors which begin a few kilometres away. The view is exactly the same as from Malagar where the famous terrace and row of cyprus trees crown a nearby hillock, itself surrounded by the pine forest of Bazadais.
